Joey D &
Willie B

With one suitcase and a six-string Ovation, Joey D hitched a ride from a family friend trying Texas on for size, and stayed to make the Lone Star state her home. She has developed her stage act as a solo recording artist, but tonight she will be appearing as a duo with lead guitarist Willie B. They will combine their songs on stage promising a powerful performance of alternating harmony and screaming guitars. Joey D's high energy and presence goes beyond stage capacity and continues to captivate her audiences. The versatility in her songwriting is astounding and her rebel like spirit keeps each performance more driving and powerful than the last! Richard Douglas will start the night out with an opening set.

The Moe Hansum Band
This 5-member band,
hailing from Houston, Texas, performs Americana music with a strong emphasis on traditional acoustic blues. Their Texas-bred music blends folk blues with a splash of the soul and rhythm of the Mississippi Delta. In concert the band presents a variety of their original tunes, complemented by little-known

covers from artists such as Bukka White, Robert Johnson and Jimmy Reed. The Moe Hansum Band has been together in many incarnations since the early 1990's. They have performed at the Kerrville Folk Festival as well as Antones in Austin, Houston's Continental Club and Dan Electro's Guitar Bar. The band is also a favorite at house concerts and private parties, often joined by one or more special guests on the slide guitar, fiddle, harmonica or horns.
Come join us for a CD Release Party to celebrate the Moe Hansum Band's Poor Boys Long Way from Home, produced by Mike Durbin and Sandy Buller on the Chocolate Buddha Records label.
