Kelly
McGuire & Tropical Daycare Trio
A
long time resident of the Clear Lake, TX (Houston/NASA)
area, Kelly McGuire is known for his original
gulf coast flavored songs ranging
from country to calypso/tropical, folk and rock.
His CD Redfish Island was released
in 2000 and contains a collection of songs he
wrote inspired by his sailing experiences in the
Bahamas, Florida Keys, Mexico and on the Texas
Gulf coast. Several of Kelly's songs have won
awards from organizations such as Austin Songwriters
Group, Fort Bend Songwriters Association, and
The Nashville Network (TNN). He was honored as
the Independent Artist of the Year 2002 - Country
Music Association of Texas.

entertainment. Houston,
Texas' most experienced bluegrass band, since 1982.
For the last two years Lonestar Bluegrass Band has
won the Houston Press Music Award for Best Bluegrass
Band and Chris Hirsch is honored with his third
Texas State Banjo Championship.

Leanne Timura
Originally hailing from the country
music capital of California - Bakersfield -
Kent
and his music have been featured on many motion
picture and television productions, as well
as several national TV and radio commercials.
In 1995 "The Tonight Show" with Jay
Leno brought a remote TV crew to the Palomino
Club in North Hollywood, California to feature
Kent on an episode spotlighting the California
Country Music Scene. He currently
calls Nashville home.
Leanne is Workshop Coordinator for the Houston
chapter of NSAI.
